Before the call
When you book, you’ll answer a few quick questions and upload up to 10 photos of your room and the pieces you’re keeping. Your designer reviews everything right before your call, so the 45 minutes start at the hard part.
On the call
Forty-five minutes of live problem solving on a one-on-one video call: furniture layout, rug placement, walls and ceilings, making the most of what you already love, a second opinion on your secondhand finds, and the how-tos for wherever you’re stuck.
Before you hang up
We’ll pull it all together into clear action steps, like exactly where the rug goes, what size sofa to look for on Marketplace, and who to call to rewire that vintage lamp.

Common questions
What exactly do I get?
It depends on the option. The workbook is Secondhand-First, an interactive 61-page PDF you can type into or print. A Design Session adds a 45-minute one-on-one video call with Kristin about your room, your finds, and wherever you’re stuck.
What kinds of rooms can you help with?
Pretty much any room in your house except the kitchen: living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, nurseries, offices, entryways, hallways, stairways, and bathrooms.
Is the workbook a course?
No. There’s nothing to log into and no videos to watch. It’s a book you work through at your own pace, in your own room.
Already own the workbook?
Then a session with Kristin is $400: the same all-in total as buying them together, just in two steps. Use the code in your workbook confirmation email when you book. Can’t find it? Email us and we’ll send it again.
Can I book more than one session?
Yes. It can help to book one at the start and another mid-project. Since you already have the workbook, additional sessions are $400: your welcome email includes the code to use when you book.
Does it work outside Nashville?
Yes. Design Sessions are one-on-one video calls, so they work from anywhere, and the method runs on Facebook Marketplace, vintage and antique stores, estate sales, and thrift stores, which exist everywhere.
What if my project is bigger than one call?
If you’re in the Nashville area, it might be a full-service project: book a Discovery Call and we’ll talk it through. Anywhere else, you can book another Design Session whenever you hit the next sticking point.
I’m a designer. Which call should I book?
The Mentorship Session, just below. It’s with Kristin, and it’s about the business, not a room.
Can I reschedule or get a refund?
Sessions can be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice: let us know and we’ll find a new time. The workbook is an instant digital download, so it’s nonrefundable.

Building a secondhand-first practice?
A Mentorship Session is a 45-minute one-on-one video call with Kristin about running a secondhand-first practice, from scratch or within an established studio. We’ll focus on whatever you need most, like building a secondhand sourcing operation, pricing without relying on markup, and keeping clients excited from the first find to the final reveal.
