Built in 1920

This family of five had a shared bathroom that was really bringing down the historic home vibes. Refinished in the 90s, it was full of tan tile and uninspiring finishes. They wanted a bathroom that they could be proud to have guests use and that reflected their style. Using original stained doors and sourcing a vintage sink and vintage doorknobs preserved the home’s character, fitting right in with the rest of the finishes throughout the house. Many elements of the bathroom were found secondhand, proving that a secondhand first approach is always in style. Now this little bathroom packs a big punch of both color and style. It also brings a smile to the homeowner’s face every time they enter, and what could be better than that?
